Proud moments

On the first anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center, thousands of mourners, including President George W Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, assemble at ground zero under the mural, “America’s Heart” by Yakov Smirnoff.

The video, narrated by Paul Harvey, tells “The Rest of the Story” about how the mural came to be included in the ceremony.

“America’s Heart” towers over the ramp where President George W Bush and First Lady Laura Bush walk past NYC first responders on the first anniversary of 9/11.
